Identify the critical features
Call out dimensions, datums and cosmetic requirements that affect function or assembly. Agree inspection scope, measurement method and report needs before work begins.
Set a project-specific plan
Different materials and processes call for different checks. Equipment, sampling, record format and acceptance criteria follow the agreed order or project documents.
Protect customer information
Publication of drawings, part photos and project outcomes requires permission. An NDA can be discussed before complete design files are shared.
