Identify critical dimensions
Call out features that control fit, sealing, motion or location, and explain their function. Other dimensions can follow a drawing-wide tolerance agreed for the project; the tightest tolerance is rarely needed everywhere.
Capability depends on the part
Size, wall thickness, geometry, material, process, finishing and measurement method all affect achievable tolerance. We review actual drawings rather than promise one universal number online.
Make inspection requirements clear
Include drawing revision, datums, critical features, measurement locations and acceptance method in the RFQ. If you need a report, mention it before quotation so scope and cost can be agreed.
